Before joining Aura in 2023, Tamsin spent 17 years working in the charity sector, frequently supporting bereaved families in finding meaningful ways to remember their loved ones.
Tamsin says:
“My dad died after a short illness, and had never talked about what he wanted for his funeral. Not knowing his wishes added to what was already a stressful time and has had a long lasting impact on my mum. If I could achieve one thing it would be to help more people to talk about death and prepare for it.”
What inspirational ideas has Tamsin found from the families she’s supported?
“Giving out blank addressed postcards for people to take away, and when a memory of the person who had died comes to mind, write in on the postcard and send to the family.”
Amy has worked in customer service for 22 years prior to joining Aura, often working with families who had lost loved ones in difficult circumstances.
Amy says:
“I’ve worked as a funeral arranger and in customer service for a long time. At Aura, I really enjoy being part of a team that brings warmth, professionalism and a great understanding of our clients’ needs.”
